Grisha Alasadi was born and raised in Europe. After receiving a diploma in the art of still photography he worked as a freelance editor, director and creative producer for all major television networks in Germany. In 1997 he moved to the United States after being accepted into the Conservatory of Motion Picture, Television, and Recording Arts at Florida State University. After graduating with honors and distinction from F.S.U., Grisha moved with his family to Los Angeles.
He has his fair share of both network and studio experience but, has also worked on many independent projects. He brings a wide range of styles to the table - features, documentaries, commercials, music videos, trailer's and social media content creation.
His talent and expertise has granted him awards for best Cinematography at the New York Film festival, Awards for best Editing at the Film and Video awards in Las Vegas. His work on the environmental documentary Harmony, starring HRH The Prince of Whales, helped earn the film, the Cinema of Peace Award at the Berlin Film festival, as well as a 2012 Golden Globe nomination. In 2015 Grisha Alasadi was presented the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his editing work on the feature Documentary “To Climb A Gold Mountain”, and a 2016 Emmy ward for his creative contribution to this social justice Documentary.
